To the latest Ranting....September 12, 2001 23:00One word.... Fuck. More words........ Well..... here I am all happy about marrying the person I love, and some absolute fuckwits remove what hope I have for humans. We all know what I'm talking about.... We've seen the footage, heard the stories, be they rumours, fact or just pure crazy...... when I say crazy, for once this related to both the real and imaginary horrors of the last 24 hours. At some stage I'll post a full rant on all this...... when I get it clear in my head. Who did this? I don't fucking care! I just don't want this sort of thing to happen again.... I hope people realise how lucky we are, not to be in Australia or anywhere else, but at this stage to be alive. If you're reading this alone, make a pact to hug the people you love when you next see them, if they are there with you reading this over your shoulder (like *someone* is at the moment), turn around and hug them...... let them know you love them, and then imagine if you could not do this, as if some complete nutter has killed them and you can never do this again........ you can't imagine it? Well that is what thousands of people across the world are feeling. I apologise for the overly sentimental crappy rant today....... but the world is fucked......oops, the people of this world are fucked, wake up! Everyone is the same, race, religion , music taste, hair colour none of it matters............ screw it that's enough.....
September 10, 2001 10:35No update for a while.... but large news now...... Droidy and I are engaged! Yes its true, Mr "I'll never get married" is getting married... once she finishes uni that is... It is all very exciting and obviously the planning starts, although from what I've been able to work out, I think going overseas and coming back married isa good choice [: August 22, 2001 19:00Testing webcam thingy....... August 20, 2001 08:57Well..... Phantom is gone. My pet and best friend was put to sleep on Tuesday after a struggle with cancer. I'll miss her.......... Being the household we are, we need a dog. I could go into large reasons for this, but who really, my family just needs a dog. So we got Ginger. A laborador cross golden retriever. She's cute says droidy..... but yeah, she's cute [: (Actually, both of them are hehehehe)
I did a Coldfusion training course this week just gone. The course was great, was just a little basic for me..... I could have gone straight to the advanced course, the demonstrator dude thought so as well.... I'll be doing the advanced course in the next couple of weeks... so that should help with work.... With me having cable access now at home, I'll be setting up a webcam.... at first just to show the growing Ginger..... but after that.... um.... probably the fish tank.... hehehhehehe I'm in a meeting for Intr'acte Theatre Company (while I write this anyway.... it didn't make it to the web until the morning), I'm the vice-president now... go figure? We're discussing the next show "Lysistrata" and the fact I should do some updates to the website... which of course I'll be doing soon....... [: I better go now..... because of no real reason... July 31, 2001 00:31Late night update....... I should be getting cable access at home..... which will be kewl..... although it will also be so I can work from home.... But it'll allow me to do the following things.....
... so next week I should have it connected.... although I'll have to have devnul 9my linux boxen) ready for the cable... cause I don't want them stuffing around with rhiannon (my windows boxen), they say they will not give support for linux, you can use it.... but they won't support on it, but I reckon if it is ready to go they'll be fine with it...
