Demotivator the laptop is now configured and ready to fly for recording.... after a bit of screwing around trying to get the latency fixed (800ms down to 20ms) I'm ready to roll..... I'm looking at recording an old song of mine.... called "Moving on and up..." this week as a full trial of multi-tracking using the new setup....

The song was one that I recorded first (and made it up as I went) when I bought my first tascam 4 track tape deck. It includes some rare degreee of skill.... i.e. me doing the tap thing, not that fast or complex... but it is tapping.... no words were ever added (no spare track) and I don't know whether there ever will. The chorus section has been changed now to be a bit groovier... but I need to get up to speed more to get the feel right.

So a trip to Lighting Lab to record it should happen Thursday.... The drum track is boring as bat shit, but I can fix that up post recording.....
