Spidey

Spiderman. I was going to write a long rave review about this film, detailing how it followed the original story beautifully, how they made Spiderman move wonderfully, and how the acting/story/direction was solid, but I can't see much point.  The film is just good.   If you like Spiderman, see it.  If you like films based on Comics, see it.  I loved it.

I agree, there's not much you can fault with this film. It's suspenseful, funny, has good effects, a good script, looks great and has Tobey in it as well as another new cute guy. I would have liked to see the scene where Spidey snares thieves by trapping their helicopter in a web between the Twin Towers but I suppose we can wait for the DVD. Not being a comic book reader, my only prob with it is 'Well, even Buffy manages to have boyfriends, you men will use any excuse not to commit!!'
And I thought the Green Goblin's mouth should have moved, the mask was too restrictive and you couldn't see the evil expressions well enough. But we don't need to get too petty.

The two towers bit was never in the film... it was only done for the original teaser trailer...

after the evenst last September the teaser and associated website were pulled... but I still have a copy of the original teaser trailer... which I admit was once of the best trailers around...

As to the movie, I'm yet to see it on the big screen, but I watched it at home on the computer. I'm looking forward to seeing it, although I'm a little concerned that sparker has seen a movie at the cinema before me....

these are troubling times...
