Doors, doors, doors |
[ January 29, 2003 ] |
You are presented with two doors. Door one leads to arguments, stress
and hand -wringing. It has the label "Make things better". Door
two leads to a life of stupidity and lack of productivity, but without the
aforementioned arguments, stress and hand -wringing. It has the label
"Status Quo". Which do you choose? Or do you, like me, stand
out the front of both doors, in a hallway marked "Indecision", trying to
work out which one you want to go through.
So far I've wandered through door one a few times, but I always seem to end
up back in the hallway. Funny thing, this hallway is very, very busy.
Seems indecision is a place many people like to stay.
I think I'll step into door two for a while. My brain may turn to mush
and leak out my ears, and the days may blend into a single, continuous blur
of non interest, but at least I won't feel like I've been run over by a truck
at the end of every day.
Wish me luck. I'll see how long it takes until I come screaming back
out the door!!!!
