Long time no post for me.... there are some reasons for this... I'd like to say good reasons but that would be lying....

Battlefield 1942 has taken over my life, I'm even playing in a clan and playing in a league. We're currently #11 out of 30 odd clans. We're unbeaten so far, so at least it is a start.

The 1.3 patch has just been released for the game, but due to some problems the ladder has been suspended, hopefully a fix will be available soon. I'm trying not to play until it is sorted out, one for my sanity and two so droidy doesn't get pissed off. You see, I play this game a lot. Hours per night if I don't stop myself.... it is that much fun. v1.3 has also changed some gameplay which I'm going to have to get used to. See I'm a sniper by choice, who also flies planes a far bit. It seems they have tweaked (or fucked up depending on who you are) the sniper rifle and now I have to re-learn the leading of targets... not fun. On the plus side they have reduced the amount of damage smalls arms does to planes, so it is a win/lose patch for me so far....

So if you don't see much of me, you know I am killing people in Battlefield 1942 and probably annoying droidy by being unable to talk and game at the same time.... I'll take some screen shots of the game and chuck them over in the gallery and I'll also post up a review of the new add-on "Road to Rome" when I get it...

here is some nifty stats box for me playing BF1942, I don't know how often it updates, but it is about 3 days behind at the moment.
