At some point in time this year, we knew we would have to send Rex, a 97 Calais with a penchant for guzzling dinosaur-age fossilised tree-bits, to someone who might appreciate such a habit. Decay and I knew that we would either be surviving on one car (Midget), or procuring a less petrol-guzzling model.
Originally, we were going to do some complicated trade-in which involved some voodoo magic and fleet discounts and other such stuff, but due to misinterpretation of what I thought to be a fairly straightforward question, the parentals, being the people who own Rex gave their blessing to us to go forth and use Rex to trade in for something else.
One sunny Saturday morning, Decay and I were awake, and out and about doing domestic things that involved being out of the house (Ikea and lightbulbs, spring to mind), and on a whim, decided to visit Car City to scope the market ...
Not 10 minutes after starting out wander about do we see this car ...

Well, not on a computer screen like it looks here, but in person, and outside, and all those things that are not indoors.
Cutting a long story short, we went home, did our internetly research online, to compare prices and things for similar model and year, and came to the conclusion that the price being offered for this car, which we had already named Clone, was decent enough.
Dinner in the city, followed by 6 hours of Baldurs Gate 2 on XBox, followed by maybe 5 or 6 hours sleep, and we were back to take Clone home. Well, not straight away, but we did sign off paperwork and stuff ...

And, thanks to G, there's some decoration for the back window ...

And just because I had a picture of it in my phone, some mini sticky apricot puddinglets. No sauce though, still tasty!

Images today, brought to you by Felix, the Sony Z1010. Does a good Shaky Cam, and also saves me from having to blur out things like number plates and stuff. I don't remember what the number plate is yet.
