Get house. Buy cat. What could be more logical? Hang on. Did you buy two houses, or have you destroyed centuries of domestic logic?

Lunchtime update -

Went home, pixel and grep decided they like the couches, and were each sitting on a single seater ...

pixel ate food like ... a hungry cat, and grep ... drank some water.

Meanwhile, lumpy and I had tomato soup and toast for lunch. Apparently they were interested in the lasagne last night (:

Yays!!!

A delicious of cats to complete the household (well at that size they're hardly a MFL of cats).

Now you must train them as your unholy army of the night!

We were having a discussion on what is the collective noun for cats, so far I have found

clowder of cats
clutter of cats
glaring of cats
pounce of cats
dout of cats (house cats)
nuisance of cats (house cats)
kendle of cats (kittens)
kindle of cats (kittens)
litter of cats (kittens)
destruction of cats (wild cats)

Update on Grep, post vet-visit:

Grep is a reluctant eater because he has ulcers on his tongue ): We know he's hungry cos he keeps leaning down to smell the food, but the whole food in mouth thing isn't particularly happening.

To this part, we've been given more things to medicate, a syringe to get some food down, and some other things to try. We were also given the option to leave Grep overnight for observation, but since Decay is at home today (he's got a cold too ...) home today is ok.

Decay and Grep are home now, and Grep has managed to eat something with the help of Decay and a syringe. He has also decided that he would like to try eating from his bowl ... so Pixel is being kept away from Grep's food supply, in an attempt to get some food down.
